#Juneathon 2015: Day 8 – Beginner Runners

We were all beginners at some point. Tonight was the turn of two colleagues from work to begin their couch to 5k programme. As a Leader in Running for Fitness (or LIRF) I volunteer and provide the training plans after work, and these chaps represents the fourth intake of beginners who have decided to change their lives. Good on them. As a beginner session I didn’t want to break them, so we jogged for just over 2 miles (Movescount) and they did great! They were enthusiastic and I think they’ll be running 5k in no time. Watch this space!
